Christina Brown

Co-Leader

Christina’s current home base is on the Vermont shores of Lake Champlain at the base of the Green Mountains with her husband and their fearless 4 year old daughter.

While she grew up in southern Pennsylvania, and spent many cherished years in Asheville, North Carolina, Christina’s adventures have taken her all over the world. Wanderlust led her from the Ghanaian coastline, to the Swiss Alps, down the Peruvian Amazon, but she was always called home to the rolling embrace of Appalachia.

Whether she’s on the rock wall, snowboarding an eastern slope, or riding a bike down trail, Christina finds the greatest joy in weaving her love of adventure into the fabric of her motherhood, and sharing her passions with her daughter, as they deepen a mutual connection to the outdoors.

Christina works as a fierce advocate for youth and families experiencing homelessness. She is devoted to building equity through connection, and to disrupting systems of oppression to uplift community based solutions. She carries these values into her role with AMI, and strives to create an equitable and accessible adventure community for all who identify as mothers.
